How Scaneli handles account data and PDF files.

This policy describes how Daybreak Dynamic Limited ("Scaneli", "we") handles personal information when you use scanelipdf.com.
PDF files
The PDF and image tools on this site run in your browser. The documents you process are not uploaded to our servers and are not used to train anything. We do not see the contents of those files.
Information we collect
- Account information. Name, email address, and password hash when you create an account.
- Billing records. Plan, amount, currency, and payment status. Card details are collected by Stripe, not stored by us.
- Product events. For a signed-in user we store that a tool was used (the tool name, not the file), so daily limits and the admin timeline stay accurate.
- Support messages. What you send to support@scanelipdf.com or through a ticket.
- Cookies. A session cookie, a locale cookie, and optional analytics cookies if you accept them.
How we use it
We use this information to run the account, take payment, apply the free-plan limits, answer support, and prevent abuse.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share it with:
- Stripe, to take payment and issue refunds.
- Email delivery, if a transactional email is sent.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
Retention
Account data stays until you delete the account or ask us to delete it. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Tool events are kept with the account.
